hey guys just wondering if anyone else out there is having the same thing that I am.

I have a 1998 2.5 GT Sedan and well at a certain volume with my bass (I listen to a lot of high bass music and techno) and I get these rattles in my doors and I can't decide if it's something loose or maybe Im exceeding the bass potential of my speakers. It's just a slight rattle whenever the bass hits and it's not the same with all forms of bass notes just on the deeper and longer hits.

Also do you maybe have a cure...clearly ruins the music.

thanks

the speakers could be blown. That or maybe the window is getting loose, that's what happened to me and it rattled like a damn diamondback. If you haven't upgrade your speakers yet I would do so. Also get some dynamat and do your door or get the small piece that goes around the speaker.

Sounds like you need Roadkill or dynamat, some vibrations are from the body panel flexing. for sedans is mostly the trunk lid and for wagons its the trunk lid + Roof  .......

I have the same problem with my front speakers in my 99. It only started happening after I put a new deck in. I'll be replacing the factory front speakers this weekend and update with what I find out.
