It's been almost 2 months since that add was posted, the guy still has them. This gives me some room for a lowered price.. what do you guys think.. $800 for it??

:D

Awesome. Those are the rims I want. They are actually suprisingly light, and very durable.

IMveryHO, I think these are actually the best 17x7 rim Subaru ever made, in terms of weight, strength and looks.

Thanks Huffer :)

Stat, they come with tires.. that are fairly new, I'm guessing that's why they are going for that price. I wouldn't pay $800 for just rims either :D

I'm going to call him and see what happens!

Just as a reference, there are people in NZ who are selling identical items for around NZ$800 - but they are in far more plentiful supply there.

That's about $600 CAD.. so maybe $800 is a good offer with the tires. Thanks!

Offset? They're a stock offset of ET53...

stock for me is 225x60x16 with 48 offset i want to run 245x50x17 thats 20mm wider than stock so i need to go to like 42 offset and roll fenders

Your Outback has stock rims that are ET48?

I highly doubt that.

No kidding??
Wow. Well, I doubt that a set of BG5 wheels would affect you that much. Why would you want to go so darn wide with your tires anyway, the BG5 wheels are only 17x7.

well since the body panel are wider on the outback then on the regular legacies, 225 are too stock looking i want to go for that wider stance. plus mostly i drive on shitty but paved roads so i really dont need tall thin tires, plus wider tires mean less curb rash.

wider tires will also mean more cracked pavement follow or "tramlining"

Those rims are soooooo nice. Those would go great with the green color on my car, and they are just Subaru enough not to attract that much attention to themselves. (Until I paint them, that is... :)

No worries, though, going to spray my mesh wheels up this weekend, glossy black. Pics up soon! (As long as weather holds out)

im not too worried about tramlining but car sways too much on this rubber, and fsb and rsb i cant afford now. so as soon as i sell both sets of my 16s im getting these and then ill go to tire shop throw on one used 245x50 and see how it fits and what needs to be done to make it work.
here is some sex on wheels

$800? eh. I guess if you're into the JDM thing.

I don't really like the design, plus the similar looking LGT 5spoke can be had for almost half as much with better tires (nankang FTL, the stock RE92 are a better all around tire IMO).
