Intake sound diagnosis

I know it's been asked but I can't find the answer. With an cone filter on the end of my intake I can hear an air sucking sound at idle (kind of high pitched) and it's also there when cruising with very little throttle applied. Is there a way to get rid of it or diminish it?

louder exhaust?!? but make sure you don't have a vuccume line off it will make a high pitch sound

mine sounds like a horn at high rpms

Heatshield the whole thing to the fender, add a snorkus. You have to pay (in db) to play in this case.
