Change the tophats (I have a set of Group N's) You also can get all the washers and the boots for around $80 all together. If you want the top mounts PM me, maybe we can work something out.

if you have the funds - tophats and camber bolts for the rear are two you would have to take off anyways to swap the struts and springs

My rear tophats were almost completely destroyed when I pulled the suspension from the car last summer, but this was on an upstate NY car.

For what its worth, if you find yours are in bad shape when you change this stuff out, I have a set of low mileage JDM v7 tophats I replaced with GrpN units if they fit

on the other hand when i switched my old BD's suspension to coilovers 240k miles on the tophats and they were fine just had to put new grease in the bearings. so inspect yours first and if they are bad replace them.

I'm guessing you don't want to have your car sitting longer than a few days. Buy what ever struts tops you want before you do the job (that would be the right way). If you don't really care if they are bad or not switch them out. I didn't do my top hats when I did my struts and springs to later find out I had a bad mount in the front.

Same thing happened to me - I switched out the springs & struts, and BOTH sides were bad. These are 1998 version SEALED bearing strut tops too.
Non-greaseable.

aftermarket for the rear, you can reuse the front
I think I should have been more specific. You can put in some aftermarket bolts so you have camber adjustability for the rear, reuse the fronts if they are in good shape

Yea I had Eibach rear adjustable camber bolts. That's why my drop look more clean than some without.

I think they are pretty much universal, but for sure WRX / STi ones will work for you. alot of vendors have them

Where do the aftermarket rear adjustable camber bolts go if the BD's didnt originally have any rear camber bolts?

it goes in the top strut mounting bolt hole, they come with a non eccentric bolt, your want to replace it with an eccentric bolt so you can adjust camber - which is plus if your lowering the car
