Looks more like a Forester replacement to me.

The interior is pretty slick, but it's only a concept, most of that car will get changed again.

Agreed. It will change alot before production but as I looked at it more, it hit me that it looks alot like a cross between a camry and a mdx. especially the grille. also being 7 pass. it could also be a replacement for the forester.

As for changes, Subaru has to progress their designs or the look of the cars will become stale. I don't like the idea of changing a tried and true formula but you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs...

I'd have no problem with a vehicle very similar to that heading to production. The only thing I'm hatin' on is that grille.

Hopefully if it makes it to the states, they'll call it a Tribeca.

BTW, the Exiga has been around a loooong time. Since 1996 I believe. Here is one of the first of it's designs:

And a newer version:

Looks like a cross between a Nissan Quest and a Mazda5.

Hopefully its a new breed of subaru because i cant picture subaru putting a 3rd row seat in a legacy. But that car has potential.

this looks slick

the interior looks slick also, i guess subaru will even make a digital auto transmission because the stick is missing lol

What worries me is that all these new cars comming out, look damn good, has loads of features i bet hid gonna be standard for production cars someday but... what if a part fails lol that car their has about 8 mini monitors in it and barely any knobs so everything is calibrated. <-----(Guessing)

oo I like that, I doubt the blue tails will stay but still a slick looking ride. 10-1 it is a hideous front end.

Didn't Subaru just drop the wagon from the Legacy line? (and the sedan from the Outback side) I can't see this being the next Legacy. Perhaps the next Tribeca, or the next addition to the line-up.

Or was that just for the US market? Perhaps we'll never see this on our shores?

Yep, we got screwed again on the Leg wagon. Hopefully they'll change their minds.

From the side... it kinda looks like a Camry wagon...

Seriously though... we can't expect Subaru to keep catering to a niche power-user set. (We'd REALLY, REALLY like it, but...) Subaru is falling in line with the mainstream design patterns of the big automakers.

I like it. I don't like all of it, but I like the car design as a whole. I say, let the critics stew for a little bit. 3 little letters often make things much better... S-T-I.

Besides, if Subaru doesn't watch itself, aftermarket support will start taking money away from them (body kits, parts, etc.). I'd be interested to see if Subaru makes agressive body kits and performance packages to keep its customer base...

Waitaminute! Sheesh... the previous Impreza versions alone are proof that Subaru has loyal fans that wait for performance versions. I'd be interested to see what kind of treatments new Legacies get.

I've already decided that between the New Impreza, the lack of a Legacy Wagon, and ongoing problems getting dealerships to do warrenty work, I'm NOT going to buy a brand new Subaru. Ever. Unless at least one of the above changes.

I don't even really care about a freaking turbo or 6 cylinder engine, I wouldn't buy a brand new Outback Wagon, sedans are out. The new "Impreza Hatchback" is so unimpressive, I just couldn't ever see myself in one, much less owning one. Not without having to radically redo the grill, the stock grill alone kills that car.

I don't know, the recent changes SOA made just... Well, I'll buy an 04 STi if I could ever get one, but other htna that, I'll get a brand new EVO.
