Hello,

I've had my '98 GT for a few years now... still waiting for that sti to appear in my garage :smt055 But, I mapped out my ME degree plan, and realized I won't graduate (with a masters) until about 2012--if I'm lucky---so I said F* it!! If I'm not gona get my dream car for another 5-6 years, I my as well enjoy what I've got! So I visited the sli site too often to be considered sane anymore and thot I my as well have a username

So, immediate mods I'm looking forward to are:

-Complete re-upholstry to black carpeting & blk mats, black leather-suede seats, etc
-Dash kit (maybe the charcoal woodgrain that's not as tacky..?)
-Interior lighting in HVAC unit and gauge cluster to red
-JDM projector hdlights & fogs (if only they weren't such a PIA to install, or figure out How to install, for that matter.. ugh)
-Steering wheel (one I have looks like it's had too much sun, lol--I'm sure u older subie owners know what I'm talkin about)
-Spoiler (undecided)
-Tint windows, tlights, brake light in the spoiler, & hlights?

As far as mechanical mods, I'm undecided... :?: I might have to save that for the sti ;-) Overall, I want it **Nice Not Tacky**

However, I'm a fairly unexperienced subie lover and not afraid to admit it like a lot of you;-) lol --So, Feel free to drop me some pointers and any relevant links!

HELPFUL WRITE-UPS WOULD BE:

-HVAC removal (my lights for the pics have never had a working bulb)
-JDM head& fog light install
-Best way to go about reupholstering.. where do I start, find materials?? etc.

Any JDM parts you need contact "andivic". I can get a few parts too made by Group A, I also signed with another company so I will be offering more parts soon.

As for a DIY install for the JDM fogs there is a write up in the DIY section. Welcome!

Take a browse through the DIY section. All your questions have been answered, in alot of detail there. Projector headlights are actually super easy to install. The JDM fog lights are another story.

Upholstery (atleast door cards) is easy, and the bulbs are even easier. First upgrade in my book? Outback rear sway bar.
