Just making sure that 04 impreza wagon struts/springs/tophats will fit my 95 legacy wagon with no problem and that it won't have saggy butt syndrome from me doing this..My factory struts have over 120k on them and the tophats and springs seem to be shot. I have the opportunity to get 04 impreza wagon suspension for 200 bucks with 20k miles on it so I am just making sure it's a good idea for me to do so. Thanks - Dan

you will have sag - even with the wagon setup - not as bad as sedan springs/struts but still

I dunno, the 95LegWag is ~200lbs lighter than a WRX wagon. I doubt you'll get sag with the struts since it's from a wagon format already.

Springs will control the sag more than the struts...

The leg springs are alot stiffer - leg springs on wrx wagon struts might be the ticket - that is what I am going to do at least

That's why I said I DOUBT WRX struts would cause any sag - it's the springs that might be sagging.

I just put 03 wrx sedan complete strut assemblies in my 95 wagon. They had Tien springs on them so that's a little different but there is no sag at all, they go right in and the car sits nice.

You're talking apples and oranges. The Teins probably have a different spring rate from the stock springs, so they probably support the rear weight a little better.

Yes, Tiens, at least the S-techs take the front-rear stiffness ratio and change it by making the rear disproportionately more stiff. Which may help fix the potential Sag.
