Not bad... a few nice bits...

I got used to seeing them in NZ... plenty of R32, R33 and several R34s can be touched and driven in a few of the meets back home....

The R34 is a beast of a car...even stock. The Nismo tune is scary too.

I didn't think it was even legal to import R34s, the previous ones are legal......someone want to tell me how it got here? Its not a motorex.

Maybe got the rolling chassis and slaped on the tommy kiara kit and threw a V6 engine in it because that engine seems a lil too short to be a inline 6.

(brought it down as scrap parts) either that or the dude has some serious links in high places.

I checked ebay for how much skylines run in the states... damn 13 grand for a GTS-Type M

Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-Skyline-GTS-T-drift-rhd-jdm-show-car-rwd-MINT_W0QQitemZ180169836844QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6392QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) ($13,499.00)

japan (http://www.japan-partner.com/Auto/3586/Nissan/SKYLINE/car-for-sale.html) ($4,618 to tampa)

Sucks living in the states if your a car freak lol but trust me skylines are a blast to drive and drive in.

Yeah, that's not the right engine. That's probably titled as a "kit car" more than likely. Bought and imported the rolling chassis and installed a motor state side. Looks good though with the Tommy Kaira bits on it though. There was a guy on Nasioc that did this with a forrester STI.

Reminds me of the pics of the SA with a Skyline motor crammed in, twin turbos and all. Not sure how it fit, but it did. Barely.

cool, way cool. Even if it's got the VQ engine and not the RB26, it's still a hot ride. :smile:

You guys can get all that of an engine cover in the dark? Regardless of what is under the hood that is a sweet ride.

thats no vq35... upon further inspection it looks most like a rb25... or maybe an rb30

Yes I can testify that it is indeed a R34 GT-T Skyline. With a RB25 inline engine. The reason it doesn't look like one is because the cover is attached. I can vouch for this because it is the second RB25 I've seen. And it is definitely not a kit car.

they said its registered as a kit car not a skyline plus....WOW its a right hand drive.

I stand half corrected! I don't think I've EVER seen a skyline with it's engine cover on before. But at least I was right about it being a kit car!

Have you been reading? It's just the engine cover, people usually take them off.

i was not just refering to the engine cover but the engine bay on a whole, one of my coworkers had one and he said thats Certain types of the r33 and 34 came with (it says Neo Inline6), that car maybe was brought in from australia.. maybe not but imma drop it before i get into trouble.

Typically you only see the R34 represented as a GT-R, so most people are unfamiliar with the GT-T engine bay anyhow.

Courtesy of Wikipedia.

The 2.5 L RB25 engine was produced in three forms:

* RB25DE - twin-cam 140 kW/190 PS and 147 kW/200 PS (with VCT) @ 6000 rpm, 255 N·m (26.0 kgf·m) @ 4000 rpm)
* RB25DET - twin-cam turbo (T28 Turbo) (245 to 250 hp and 319 N·m)
* NEO RB25DET - twin-cam turbo (206 kW (280 PS) @ 6400 rpm, 362 N·m (37.0 kgf·m) @ 3200 rpm)

RB25DE and DET engines produced from August 1993 also featured NVCS (Nissan Variable Cam System) for the intake cam. This gave the new RB25DE more power and torque at lower rpm than the previous model.

In May 1998 a NEO head was fitted, which enabled the engine to be classified as a low emission vehicle engine (LEV). The non-VCT and non-turbo was fitted to the R32 Skyline, the VCT turbo and non-turbo was fitted to R33 Skylines and Stageas. R34 Skylines also use these engines, but they are fitted with a NEO head.

Look Familiar?.....now stop it subba

that is funny as hell. it not a true GT-R. R32,R33,R34 GT-R's came with RB26DETT. all others came with RB20's or RB25's. they might have the body of a GT-R, but they are not true GT-R's. no GT-R in the world came with anything other than a RB26DETT(except the new R35). the only ppl that make a RB30 is OS Genkin. NISMO is the only ppl to make a RB28(only came in they GT car). also if i remember right the only GTS-T's were 4 doors. all 2 doors were GT-R's. so if they dont have a RB26DETT in them that means they took them out to import it. also MOTOREX will never import cars again. he is in a place were he doesnt see the sun very often.
