The post office finally found my house. I think they must have tried every SLi member before they found me. (These are the SLi sticker that 2DL auctioned on ebay about 2 months ago.) They were post marked the beginning of July. I washed may car yesterday and put them on. Sorry know pic yet. They will come later. Driving to work this morning I got a CEL. Any corrilation. I don't know. It did feel like I had a few extra horses.lol Everything sounded like it was running fine. Does any one know if Subaru has cel at a particular mileage intervals to get you to take it in for service?

I know Honda does, and its annoying as hell, but it isn't a CEL, its a Maitinence Required light
...did you check the gas cap? Sometimes the tank isn't pressurized right and it senses that an throws a CEL....other than that, I have no clue :?

I have that maintinence light on right now in my accord. :smt021 I changed the oil myself but dont know how to reset it (well I could easily find out im just too lazy because I dont really care)

Ive had the gascap thing happen too. If it stays on more than a couple days and your not feeling anything head on over to autozone and get the code pulled. (theyll do it for free)

Most newer cars have the service interval CEL but I'm not sure about Subaru. Best way to find out is call your dealer.

Did you get something under the hood wet???

Sheepdog- I had an Integra that did the same thing. There is a button under the dash near the steering column that you have to press. Check the Honda forums as I did when I had the same light.

You might have to hold it in while starting the car or some othe sequence.

I did drive through heavy rain yesterday. Maybe something got wet.
I still think the sticker has something to do with it. I am going to autozone at lunch.

CEL = po328 Knock Sensor

Anybody got any ideas as to what this means?

Umm...the knock sensor retards the timing of the sparks in the cylinder to stop engine knocking. I don't know what the code specifically says, but maybe there's something wrong with the sensor...I think you'd probably know if you were getting engine knocking. Sorry I can't help you more :(

Ill look into it, see if anyone I know has seen it before. I am betting on bad gas too.

I used to get that code all the time when I had my other legacy. Some of the engines were sent out with knock sensors with bad casings and would throw up a CEL when it would get wet. Chances are you are going to keep seeing this. When your engine dried off it will go away....

I believe the old sensors (bad ones) had a grey connector and the new ones either had a white or black connector.

Of course I don't, nobody knows everything...although some people (like Gator GT) know a hell of a lot..
