i was wondering if the 15" rims from an old wagon(91 or 92?) will fit on my 97 GT.
I was looking for a picture but i couldnt find one. i think they are 5 or 6 wide spokes. the tires that are on them are 205/60/15 or 205/65/15(i forget) The only thing i worry about is if they will fit over my front rotors and calipers. I hope someone can help me because someone is selling them for $25 and i want to paint them black and use them for winter wheels.

didnt outbacks come with 15s, so i would assume yes. i got some tleg wheels for my wagon, but then again, my car already has 14inch steelies on it.

Non-GT's I think can run 15"s. The bigger brakes (10.7") won't allow them IIRC.
You can always just test fit them. Then again, I change the wheels on my car more times in one year than a typical driver done in a lifetime

Outbacks have the same brake size as GT models(10.7 rotor with dual caliper), and came with 15s. so providing those 15s turn out to have similar dimensions to the OB wheels, they should fit no problem.

I Believe that you can fit 15" wheels over 1996-1999 GT brakes, but I'm not positive 100% on that. I know for sure that you can't fit 14"'s on them.
In 1992, Subaru was running EA and EJ series motors at the same time (Loyale with the EA, and the Legacy/Impreza with EJ), so they were also running 4 lug and 5 lug at the same time (EA and EJ respectively), so be sure you're putting the right type of wheel on your car. :p That being said, I don't think ANY Subaru came with a 4 lug 15" wheel... So, as long as the caliper clears, you should be fine.
