So, the car got new cam seals (all 4) and a new front main seal on Friday. Tomorrow, it's getting another seal replaced, behind the water pump.

So, instead of just-replaced seals blowing out, it was an entirely different seal that went, which in a way, makes me happy.

The mechanic is going to replace the seal free. Not being a cheapskate, I'm gonna at least pay for parts. Kickass mechanic.

While I was there, I was introduced to another car (on accident), that had the cam seals go as well. The owner used an iffy mechanic to replace them, and they used aftermarket seals that are too small, and they apparently used JB weld to hold some of the gears on, which now refuse to break free. So, that engine is toast. Glad it isn't mine.

I am not sure, but I just did the water pump and there is no seal - just a big hole where it goes. and no oil goes to the water pump - strange. Do you have the part number.

I always use OEM seals and stuff and I still have a fresh one leaking - it needs to DIAF or something cause I am tired of taking the timing belt off and on

Not a water pump seal, it's a block seal... Not exactly sure which one, but oil was running out the engine and onto my exhaust.
