Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone here ever seen the stock GT wheels painted gold (like the 2.5RS wheels gold).

I'm thinking of painting mine gold, but I don't know how they will look. My other option was painting it Bronze and leaving the lip silver

A guy on nasioc did it, quite a nice job as well. Here are the few pictures I have of it

I just used the wal-mart brand gold, with dupli-color wheel clear coat. They've held up VERY well through the Colorado weather and sand, and they are more gold that those pictures make them look (they look darker in those pics)

They look awesome. How many coats did you apply of the wal-mart gold and the clear coat?

I think I did maybe 2 coats gold, 2 coats clear.

I sold my old set to a kid on NASIOC and he painted them gold. I couldn't find any pics though.

AWESOME. I am painting them gold. I'll hopefully have a whole day off so I spend my whole day on them. I'll post pics once I get it painted.

what color is your car? it that your wagon in the pic?

id say go for gold unless its a black car. then you def need to consider bronze, imo.

I did consider Bronze because I saw an Integra with about the same shade of green as my BD and the Bronze wheels looked good, but from I see from these pictures I'm going GOLD. The legacy that I posted is not mine it's just a quick picture that I found on Google that I could post to reference.
