Climate Control Light on 98 GT

Hey everyone, is the climate control buttons and slider (BLUE AND RED) marks supposed to light up? Mine don't and it doesn't help when I need to increase/decrease the speed on the fan or switch the location where the air needs to blow.

yeah they should... as with anything, bulbs will burn out after a while. you can either A) get a new climate control unit from ebay (used about $30 .. and make sure their bulbs work) or B) go to subaru, buy the bulbs (very cheap) and replace the ones that are burnt out. thats what i had to do just recently.

Get new bulbs, you don't know how long the bulbs will last from a used piece.

That's what I thought, I just downloaded that 50MB FSM so I'll go get those bulbs changed. I was looking and I saw some where,Do the JDM legacy's have a digital climate control? If so can anyone post a picture of it lite up in the dark
