Does anyone know if it will fit on a BD?

No clue? I guess I'll have to take the dive.

They sell them specifically for the legacy....there a reason you want the STI one?

One such example:

Because I found one for $20. I had this one, or one like it saved. But now looking at it, it is a different design.

Where exactly does this go? whats it attach to?

It goes under the car, behind the oil pan. Think of it as a strut brace for the underside. It just bolts up to a few of the larger bolts on the underside...Not sure where exactly.

so would this be the same as a front sway bar? or would it work with one? or no use in having both?

Both will work

It's not really the same thing, the sway bars act in a way to reduce chassis roll, make it less "top heavy" in the corners. The strut bars/h brace just stiffen up the chassis, to help reduce chassis flex. It ties up both halves of the car to make it more "rigid". Sway bars are pretty high up there in terms of handling on the list of up grades, strut bars and h braces are pretty far down the list, because a lot of people don't notice too much of a difference unless you put your cars to good use aka: track time.

I have a front lower tie bar, the "H" brace is pretty much a step above the tie bar.

If it won't fit the BD it won't fit a BG or BK. The other one that he showed will.
