I don't know if anyone is following the DARPA Urban Challenge, but Team UCF (University of Central Florida) is using an Outback. In case you have no idea what the Urban Challenge is, it's a competition put on every year to see the devolopement of autonomus (unmanned) vehicles. They go through a number of staged courses testing their ability to obey traffic rules and stay in the lines. Sadly, the Outback wont be winning any prizes because it went out bounds in a residential area and hit a house.

ROFL @ the 'it went out of bounds and hit a house'.. damn.. shouldn't they be testing this shit on closed courses? HAHAHA. Leave it up to UCF to hit a house! haha.

I seen one of these at a junkyard I was at the other day or almost the same thing...minus the equipment. It did have the old ambulance shelving in it though.

It's an Ecto-1 in waiting. A newer version of the same car, but still a Caddy Wagon. :smile:

They should do the DARPA trials in my neighborhood, I have some asshole neighbors...
