Hey guys,

I installed the yellowstars in my projector fogs, and they work great - love the yellow hue at night. However, the passenger side one always has this wierd blue/green tint to it, and it burned out last week. Replaced it today, and the same damn green/blue hue is in the pattern when it hits the pavement. I'm afraid I'm going to burn out another.

Anyone have any ideas? Is this a precision installation? I might have tweaked something when I put it back in, but it's so simple I didn't think it was possible to screw up.

Maybe its receiving too much or too little power. I have the same fogs and they are identical. They shouldn't be green.

Agreed with what he's saying ^^^

The bulbs when you look at them sheen blue/yellow, so combine and you're getting green. I imagine it's not getting enough juice. Maybe you have a short somewhere? Are you grounding the fog lamps back to the chassis?

Well, they're just replacing the OEM bulbs and they are the same wattage as stock. So I haven't altered from the factory how it is grounded.

What about if you have regular OEM bulbs in there, do they appear different as well?
