Just curious as to what kind of performance gain you got with those mods, were they expensive. I believe an engine swap would be two much trouble and since I have an automatic, I am limited. Therefore mods like yours were a thought.

Thanks

Thanks

the exhaust was about 700, intake about 50-100ish, i have an auto as well. some mods there is no way around like the pulley, TBS, springs and sway bars. 1st and 2nd pull really hard. when i punch it on the high way going about 70-75 it pulls really nice to about 100. i hit 130 the other day on my was up to UCONN. not to bad for an auto.

Oil pressure and Vacuum gauges

Um... just curious about the vacuum gauge & what it accomplishes?
Does it monitor a custom installed Shop-Vac?

lol... it does really measure vacuum in my intake manifold. my friend had it in his garage, never used and he said i can have it. so i figured why not if its free. no point really i just like watching the needle move around

Ah I see... Cuz you had me totally lost why an N/A car would need a vacuum gauge.

Free is always the best mod!

quick question for you guys about the gauges. will this fit?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRAY-02- ... enameZWDVW (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRAY-02-03-04-05-SUBARU-WRX-TRIPLE-GAUGE-PILLAR-POD_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ46100QQihZ015QQitemZ250189124334QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

i know the top where it sits flush with the roof is alittle different but idc. will it snap on? if some one can take theres off on a WRX/STi and take a pic of the inside of the piller would help a bunch.

On an older car, a vacuum gauge would be sorta handy to diagnose problems, in addition to eye candy (if they were Defi or $$$ gauges).

you guys should really see the kids that are in my auto class. (i am senior in high school) some kids don't even know how to put air in tires. anyway, whenever i bring my car in just because i am bored, within 10 seconds every crowds around like i have a lambo or something. its really funny how dumbfounded these kids are. anyway the reason why i told you this is because they probably will believe that gauges give you more hp....LMAO

Well you do have a nicer car than most can say when they were in HS. Shit I drove an Oldsmobile cutlass ciera, but Oldsmobiles are pretty popular around here. Plus when I was in HS it wasn't speed, it was chrome rims and loud system was "cool" lol

Hell he wasn't even a tinkle in his daddy's eye when I was in high school. I drove my dad's 67 bug when I could get it.
