NEWB here, not sure if this hose should be connected...

Hi guys, the wifey and I recently joined the subie family with our first - a 1997 Legacy wagon (non-turbo). To get better aquainted with her I thought I'd check her out underneath the hood. There was a hose from the engine that was disconnected and not connected to anything that looks like it should be connected to the intake side. I connected her anyways and didn't get any CEL or noticed anything different driving her around. I was wondering if you guys could confirm whether the hose in question should be connected to the intake side...

yes thats for the PCV valve and it should be connected.

Awesome, thanks StatGSR. I was just looking over your sig and see that you have an Integra as well - I just got rid of my 96 which had 446K kms, I already miss her :-( .

^ yea that was a bad move dude haha. my teg was my first car. iv had it for 4 years and im hoping to enjoy it for at least another decade if i can.
