So I'm pretty sure its not even worth the work to replace this on the wagon, because its only a matter of time before the transmission goes in the car. But, obviously with a leaking water pump, I can't really go too far at all. Anyone replace a waterpump on the ej22?
I was surprised that I had to remove the timing belt and all that good stuff to get to it. Crappy part is, I just had the timing belt and the oil pump replaced, so the only thing that has to be fixed is the waterpump. I guess I'm used to Jeep engines, which are actually easier to work on than these.

just did it a few weeks ago - like a timing belt job with 8 extra bolts - not hard but irritating

Hey, if you want the whole 1992-94 factory service manual, you can get it off my server:

www.designlabx.com/subaru/1992_legacy_fsm.zip (http://www.designlabx.com/subaru/1992_legacy_fsm.zip) (30 meg download)

I wish i knew how to do timing belts on my 99 LGT as well.. cause i need to replace the belt + idler pulleys.. and yea.. have no one to show me how.. so.. that sucks. Plus my belt is off already.. blah blah. *random rant*
