Hello I have a 98 legacy wearing WRX sedan struts with Koni inserts. I also have ground control coilovers on there, the right is downright harsh.

My question is what springs should i use with this setup? GD springs (if i understand this will give me saggy butt syndrome) or BD springs (not sure what this would do with the wrx struts/spring perch height etc)

any insight would be greatly appreciated.. the Ground controls let me get the height just right, but the springs are too harsh..

I know i could just buy a set of BD koni's and put them in BD struts with BD springs.. but id like to avoid that as i have all this

You'll need to retain the WRX spring fitment if you want to keep your WRX struts and probably your top-hats.

Basically you need to determine the spring rate of your current springs, and find something that is a little softer. Also, the tighter/lower you wind your Ground Controls, the harsher the ride...

thanks for the reply! so are there any WRX springs confirmed to eliminate SaggyButtSyndrom?

the Ground controls are at the bottom of their adjustability, but the car sits pretty high.. really not sure what that is about, unless maybe i put the front adjusters on the back?

i have the longer threaded peice in the back and the shorter up front with the longer springs in back and shorter springs up front (for the ground controls)

can you verify if this is right? i didnt see any directions on GC's site, and i got the setup second hand.

thank you,
-Doug

you could always just order custom spring rates to put into your gc coilovers. they are typically just eibach springs in there.
