Question: how much do you think a 1995 legacy L sedan auto with ~79,000 miles would go for in reasonable shape up North, no rust.

I am down in florida at my dad's and saw this legacy for sale so I stopped and looked at it, relatively cheap asking price. Do anyone think it would be worth it to drive it north and sell it for a profit? I plan on going and taking it for a drive but we will see.

I looked on ebay and with about 60,000 more miles simular legacys were going between 4K and 5K. If I can get this guy to come down on the price it might be a good investment.

I don't think this is a good idea. Cars are never a good investment unless they're classics. Also there aren't too many people looking for 12 year old cars in this state. For 4-5k you can get a 2000+ (other make) with similar miles around here.

it really comes down to its conditon and what your guna pay for it. and of course wither or not its actually awd.

If it's ridiculously low price and you know you can profit go for it. But if you looking at $200-$300 profit I wouldn't bother.

If you can buy it for sub$1000, and don't have to outlay anything major on repairs/maintenance...

Most people won't pay $4000 for an out of state car with a sketchy maintenance history.

At 75,000 miles the timing belt receipt should be FRESH.

Not worth it IMHO.
