House of Kolors Cosmic Cobalt Blue.

Body / Looks
-Shaved levers
-Carbon Fiber Air Ducts
-Euro Style Undertail kit
-Billet Bar Ends w/ GSXR logo
-Clear Flush Mount signals
-Zero Gravity's smoked double bubble windscreen
-Color coded wheels
-Solo seat cover
-Hidden L.E.D's
-8000k HID
-peg swap
-SV1000 Brackets

Mods / Mechanical:
-Barnett Clutch
-RK performance chain
-Two Brothers Carbon Fiber exhaust
-Synthetic Fluids
-K&N Filter Kit
-Tuning by Arthur Brown

..and I'm sure I'm missing some things.

When I bought it, it was downed by the previous owner.
While taking off from a ferry ride onto land, the chain snapped and resulted with a few scratches and bruises and the bike being written off. After i took ownership, I stripped it down
and through out the years, brought it through some stages...

to post pics, use the "IMG" and "/IMG "tags. Put them inside of square brackets, with the URL in the middle like this:
I can't actually show you the tag, since it'll just display as an image.

It had double jpeg tags and I wasn't erasing the last. Doh!

Thanks Dave for the help and Reason for the heads up.

I was going to but I just had bought a house and used the extra money to fix a few things. I like to get one while the prices are down. But if I can't until spring I might try to buy a new one.

New pics up top! Leave a comment.

BTW: I've been trying to stay away from over bling. That's possibbly the only reason why I didn't just polish these out. Black was my initial thought.

Bad ass. My best friend just bought a red 2006 GSXR 600. Nice bikes.

Get yourself an RK chain and ditch the rusted one! I would have had the rims chromed. I love your bike man. I can't wait to get one, we need to ride together. I looked at the 91 750 I told you about and it was a POS. it been down a few times, had a shitty paint job, bent and chipped front rim and the bike looks like it gets left out in the weather. It had 20k too and he wanted $2,000 for it. I should have offered him $400 for it, it was a mess.

Comment's welcome.

From when I got it:

Tear down and rebuild

...and almost all back together.

And I still have more to do, but updating my maintenance on the Legacy is gonna put this off for a couple of weeks.

Pics of the repairs I've done by myself. Sorry, but as everyone knows I can't take pics.

Stripped it down. You can see the Repair kit on the lower left.

During: The repair that is. I welded this securely inside and out.

All the parts I'll be painting. My rear hugger and other parts that had past damage as well.

Cool, you keeping the same color or changing it?

Still trying to come up with an idea since this one is outta my pocket and not being sponsored.

I got attached to the "clean" look. Not to mention I bought some new pegs and a solo seat cover. That was some coin that I could've saved to paint the whole bike a different color. I'm doing it all myself, so time and cash are scarce. My biggest time killer is the 911 Targa in the background of the first pic. Has to be done before the end of August and it is a complete rebuild.

Here's what it looks like as of Saturday. I removed all the masking paper to put it away for the day.

At our 28 mile destination.

Had a few custom TRex's come out to play. only got a shot of 2 of the 4 in attendance tho.

I was trying, but almost all these guys are friends, so we ended up talking and catching up rather than me taking pics. Sorry guys :dontknow:

Thank you!

I'm stuck up to my neck with work right now, but when time frees up and if it don't sell, i'll be working on it again for this season. I was entertaining the idea of setting it up as a Streetfighter as an homage to the era where they became popular... the late 90's- early 2k. However, I can't bring myself to chopping it up. Maybe just strip the front end off and do a headlight set up and bellypan?
