It's soooo dark in here. Who turned the ligts off?

Ever since I bought my wife the 93 sedan the interior lights have not worked. I decided tonight was the night I fixed all that.

I checked the fuse and it was blown. Pop in a new fuse, hit the switch..POP!

I do it again but this time in complete darkness..Looks like there is a spark from the center console area. I pull apart the radio area onlty to find someone had installed an aftermarket radio and cut the wires but half-ass taped them back together when re-installing the OEM deck. Some wires came undone and grounded themselves therefore causing the short.

Problem solved but I pulled too hard on the antenna extension and now I can't find the end to hook it to... I am sooo screwed. She is going to kill me.

I ended up buying one of those antennas that mounts to the inside of your glass and is amplified. Works great because it is only used to pick up signal from my XM radio. So now I have the antenna down and just the little black XM bump on the roof.....can you cay "clean!"
