"While the most exciting news coming from Subaru these days has to do with a certain all-wheel-drive turbocharged rally-car-for-the-street, the company also is making news headlines with a possible single cylinder motorcycle. If the rumors hold true, expect to see the bike with a 500cc engine from Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru's parent company), a twin-spar aluminum frame, Showa USD forks and rear shock and Tokico radial mount brakes. Considering the expected output of 50 horsepower, the specifications otherwise seem rather high. The bike appears quite large despite being on the short end of the stick displacement-wise. The American market in particular has not been kind to machines in this size-class, but we're still quite interested in knowing just how much truth there is to this one."

I'll wait to see if they release it, then wait an extra year for them to iron out kinks with it, THEN, I might buy 1.

See that label on the engine? That's what says subaru. The bike isn't a subaru, just the engine. :-(

I hate being negative all the time, but that thing was a waste. It couldn't haul ass, it sucked through corners... it weighed a ton. No thanks. If you could use it to it's full potential, then yes.

Well I was actually talking to the guy who made it and said he got it up to about 85. He was scared to go faster. I can't see where you think it couldn't "haul ass". I'll agree it might not "handle" well in corners but thats something you dont want to open up on corners.

Yea, it's some chinese made frame with a one cylinder subaru engine.
I didn't think they made one cylinder street bikes, but I guess so...
