I'm wanted to buy one and someone suggested, just make it.

So I went to Loews and got a sheet of aluminum( i think) and I poped my hood and I can't make it

The brackets that hold my radiator is like this. It has that Black one piece bracket that goes across the whole radiator.

So I was wondering, If I could take that bracket off and put this one

This one has the two gray brackets and that black piece that goes across the top pf the radiator.

Only with this radiator bracket will I be able to put the radiator cooling panel.

I know I have no use for the cooling panel, but it look cool

THANKS

What I would do is just use the radiator bracket bolts to hold the 'cooling panel' down and have the radiator bracket completely underneath of it. It may take some washers as well.

i guess i dont see the problem. cut the piece of metal just like the one u posted, bend it if u need to. take out radiator bracket bolts. slide metal under radiator brackets. put bolts back in....

that's what I thought. I got to go to the junk yard soon, then to my basement to recreate the blue print for the cooling panel.

I'll post pics on Member Rides I once I'm done.

I have a Cusco one and was going to use it as a template and sell them. It seems easy enough, you can grab those brackets from a junk yard for almost nothing, they should fit.

yeah it's called a "radiator shroud" they say it's for cooling but the wrx/impreza guys seem to think it really doesn't do anything but add eye candy.

If you can make one for cheap, cut away

of course its just eye candy. i just dont see a 98gt getting flogged enough to require more efficient cooling.
