Can anyone give any advice instruction on how to replace the outboard tailights (not on the hatch) on a BH Legacy? I picked up a set of JDM tailights last night and am looking for some tips on how to swap them out. I have not had a chance yet to look too in-depth into it, but there appears to be a panel in the rear interior to access the tailight, and two bolts with a push-post holding the light on.

Any advice/tips?

You've got the idea... it'll be a combination of the black mastic glue (reuseable, BTW) and small threaded nuts, on very long (4"+) bolts.

One effective method I've used is to remove the interior trim panels, and put a hair dryer inside the light cavity, and gently warm the glue. Alternate with heating the outside housing, only near the seams where it touches the metal part of the body.

Then push on the light so that there is less tension on the nuts, and use your spare hand to undo the nut.

Reinstall is the reverse...
