I cannot find the how to, to make foglights independent

Can someone help me, I am putting hellas on my car for a winter rally using a stock foglight switch so it looks factory, I want them to be independent of the headlights. I am also going to make the factory fogs indenpdent while I am at it.

Can someone help me find the thread that has this information

I just spliced a relay into my parking lamp wire. You could do this, then have the switch actually turn on the 12v or not. This way fogs come on with parking lots but no necessarily when everything is off. This'd prevent you from leaving them on.

got it using the stock button cut the YL # 5 in other post and connect it to a constant power source

will this make them not go off when you turn on the brights?
