If it's not too much trouble, can you measure the gaps between the top of tires to wheelwell for both front and rear? Thanks.

I'll do that once I finish dinner. :)
Sliding in snow pics not found because my parents won't let me get sideways :( "SON, YOU WILL FLIP THE CAR!"
From top of tires to fender, front is 2.25" and the rear is 2". Are you talking about inside the wheel well?

I like that color....a LOT. How did the tires fare in the snow?
I was originally planning on some Goodyear Tripletreds but with snow coming down the next day, I didn't feel like special ordering them since no one locally had them in 205/60R15 :-( . After talking to some folks on NASIOC who said that the BFGoodrich Traction T/As were really good and Sam's Club actually had them, I gave it a go. They actually handle really well in the snow if you drive at a decent speed (<25 mph). Anything past that and the weight of the car just pushes it sideways. Not sure I want to knock over people's mailboxes in my own neighborhood lol.

Sweet, thanks for the review. I'll be getting snow tires next fall and have been researching carefully.

How did the tires fare in the snow?
Hi Dave, I had the TA's on my car and took them off this year. They are OK in the snow until the tread gets to about 85% left, then they are just plain scary. As the OP said, they slide easy, and the traction is limited in certain conditions, especially braking. I switched to dedicated snows and the traction difference is amazing. In packed/slush conditions the TA's would spin if I got on the throttle moderately and would be hard to control the car. The snows spin slightly and I have total control at all times in the same conditions.
Sorry for the thread hi-jack...
Car looks good, lets get some full car shots!

I think the measurements you gave me is what I was looking for. Thanks. oh, what size are your tires, 205/60/15? I have an outback and am considering putting Legacy springs and trying to figure out how much drop I'd get.
New pics after washing off all the salt from the snowstorms we've had:
