Rally light install

I have been doing TSD Rallies with the Finger lakes region SCCA. The larger portion of these rallies are at night so I decided I needed some extra lighting. Since I am in college I didn't have the funds to buy lights, so I called a friend of mine that I worked with and he told me that he had a old set of hellas I could have.

I wanted to make the mount removable because I didn't want to have the lights on the car all the time. So here is what I came up with.

I knew the plug and play projecter set-up would come in handy

So the license plate holes are 7" apart so I made this bracket for bracing with nuts welded to the plate

I glued it to the back of the bumper

I cut a piece of aluminum square tube to my specs

and installed back on the car

I also picked up a spare foglight switch at a local junkyard. I knew I was going to mix this up with the Stock projector fogs so I colored the backside of the button so I could tell the two apart

Oh ya I finished 2 in class and 12th overall out of 25 cars

Fix your wiring! Run the wires together then behind the aluminum plate (or through it) and behind the license plate and then up around the beam and over to your relay. Other than that looks good. You mounted them in a similar fashion to how I did my hella 500's last year.

They are already off the car, they are on the car just for the rallies. I am not driving around with the lights on because it just doesn't fit a wagon.
