EJ25D w/ EJ255 Head

Everyone has heard or knew someone with a Honda Frankenstien motor(ex. LS V-TEC)

As I was reading about the EJ engines, I saw that the EJ255 has the AVCS(Active Valve Control System). I was wondering if the EJ255 head will fit on the EJ25D???

I just want to know if I can get the Active Valve Control System on my BD.

FYI - I was a and am a Vtec-atic :grin: and as well as a rotary-atic :grin: and non-turbo DOHC-atic :grin:

EM will be a bitch. Plus, you're going to end up with a lower CR out of that...

On top of that, the cam profiles are turbo tuned. You would get better results going with 255 heads and new cams.

This won't be easy, but I think it would be worth it. Post a worklog?

That's what I thought, it would be too much work for results. I forgot about the cams.

Yeah, cams would be big money yo. You'd have to like get them custom ground, I don't think anyone makes NA profile cams for the AVCS heads.

I wonder when Subaru will release an AVLS/AVCS head... Or have they already?
