heres my question, my friend has Enkei RPO7's with Toyo tires that he is selling. I looked up the RPO7's and it says they are only for FWD. Are they ok to put on an AWD car (mine)? I have know clue, gimme feedback.

I don't think it makes a difference. Just make sure that the offset and sizing is correct.

Besides fitting on the car, for AWD you must use rims of the same diameter and tires of the same profile.

generally rims specified as 'fwd rims' don't have enough offset. If they do, then they should be just skippy.

Well first off I think we need more info, what size wheels are they? 17's? 18's? Width? Offset? Cause I'll tell ya right now 19x9's with a +55 offset wont work. Tire size matters too, give us all the numbers and we'll be more likely to give you a thumbs up or thumbs down.

you're only putting them on the front? STOP! That will toast your differential! Unless all 4 wheels/tires are the same in circumference, it will do something tricky to your drivetrain...

lol, Mark you are funny

Steve you are getting 5 rims?? STOP!! you can only put 4 rims on at a time. Don't worry Mark, I have you covered dude.

Anyway, like I told you at the meet Steve, go for it. Looks like they fit fine and look good and the price is good.

Well, Norma_Jean was about to do that, and GatorGT happened to mention that you will fry your drivetrain....

As for the 5 wheels comment, :thefinger:

HA! I love this site...

As long as the offsets in check and it doesnt rub I don't think you'll have a problem. Heck, give em a go and if you fry your wheel bearings it's probably safe to assume the offset was a little off. As long as they aren't massive chrome dubs that you'd see on a legacy in Bridgeport or NZ, I think you'll be alright, lol. (no offence to you NZ guys, that was a low blow if you knew the bridgeport reference.)
