This wraps up my first year as a Mod here...or on any forum really. It's been an interesting and fun experience, and I'm glad I can finally give back to the community.

2007 has been an expanding year at SL-i, and the ROTM showed some of our new blood. We had a Mad Max-esque Wagon, Another slick ride by a famous member, a TIE, Mod vs. Mod, and who could forget the Huge-Foglight-wearing, Ultra-rare bumpers?(Just to name a few) Without further adieu, here are the nominees for Ride of the Year--the Ride of the Month winners from 2007. This was a very tough choice! Some stellar cars here and the diversity in the cars really shows what makes this site great.

this was a tough decision indeed... i was down to three cars for a long time, but after looking not only at the pretty pictures above, but at the work put into these cars, my vote goes to dplacencia...

I love Sybirs RWD BC... but he doesn't even own it anymore so I couldn't vote for it.
HotBoxers WRB BD is nice... but I'd respect it more if he had had the car painted himself and not purchased that way.
LiveStrongs BC is incredible and I really dig all the mods done + its local... but I had to vote for

I can really respect all the time and effort that has gone into it. The WRX steering wheel, WRX e-brake, 18! inch Prodrive PFF7's, JDM heads and tails. Its overall a very neat and complete package. The paint looks amazing. The only thing left is to slam it down on those coilovers!

All these cars are winners though.

And the BC is still in the family, it just got turned into the shop racecar, it's just not parked in my driveway anymore, because it'll be much cooler with a built motor, standalone, cage, etc ;)

Tough vote! I was never into Subie's much until we got the LGT from my parents... The more I see them, the more I like them.

All of them are sharp looking cars! But Alcoyne gets my vote today. Though, if I was allowed to vote again tomorrow, I'm sure it would be different. :lol:

1st - Sybir's RWD SS because it is HOT. I don't care if he owns it, sold it, or blew it up.

2nd - Huffer's wagon. Clean + white + gold = sexy.

I think alcyone's BD is about as hot as it can get, but I also think it's awesome that silent racer was one of the first to put the baja hood on his legacy. BE's don't get enough loving around here, so my vote went his way. Very tough choice though.
