Ok so teh swap is running properly now!
but i'm having a little issue with my rear suspension.
I have a 1998 outback wagon with full wrx engine/trans/rear diff.
I have WRX sedan donor struts with said car Koni Inserts.
I have BG5 pink JDM wagon springs
I have RS Rear group N tophats.
I have 98 legacy GT lateral links
I have 07 sti rear trailing arms (which appear to be the same length/shape as the ones i took out of my outback.. but that was a visual side by side comparo.
when assembling everything it went together well, until i put the assembly into the car, the inboard side was ridiculously close to the chassis. I had to force the tophat into position from above, which really didnt seem right (i've done many many many similar installs on 02+ subarus)
when driving everything seems ok, but i'm afraid if i hit a bump or something serious I may pop the spring off the perch, or bend the jeebus out of hte strut..
what seems to be most suspect in this situation? the car rides really nice with this setup btw, smooth but flat and that is with stock outback swaybars.
I really appreciate any constructive criticism. I realize it seems like a bass ackward way to go about things, but I wanted to use what I had as my swap got a little out of line on the budget..
