BF Goodrich Traction T/A. or Kumho Ecsta ASX..anybody using?

I would like to know if anybody's using/used them, and get some opinions. I am also interested in similar performing tires, at a decent price, for my driving style... more on that later....
I have been happy with the Gislaveds on the car when I got it, but I dont think I can get them here in the US anymore.
Spent a lot of time on here, and reading reviews on TireRack.com...
I was going toward the Continental ContiExtremeContact, but the reviews I read have changed my mind.
SO.. that lead me to the BF Traction T/A, H or V rated (would probably go V)
I have ALWAYS had good experiences with BF goodrich tires. I sold tires for a few years, and all of us in sales ran BF's on our trucks, with no problems, and great results.
I dont drive the car everyday, as I have a company truck for work. I love driving this car moderately hard, and I love driving in all weather.
Suspension is stock (will have KYB GR2's in a couple days) and I will probably upgrade the rear swaybar soon... other than that, and possibly some poly bushings, no mods are planned.
I do not want to get seperate winter tires. I know there are trade-offs, obviously.

I'm running the Kuhmo Asx........stable at 100+ MPH, aggressive tread pattern, nice cornering, kind of noisy. Had conti touring contact tires before, very crappy at cornering.

The ASXs scare me in the snow, ContiExtreme Contacts were much better for that.

On dry pavement the ASXs will run rings around the Contis though. It's all about what's important to you.

My friend has the Conti extremes on his volvo, the sidewalls fold over quicker than a pancake... that's being folded... Though they are pretty good in the snow, they are not a dry performance tire.

The BFGoodrich tires are really quiet compared to the stock Potenza RE92s that came with the car. There's noticeably more grip with the Traction T/As than the RE92s in the dry (I've made my RE92s chirp before taking a turn at normal speeds). However, they're not exactly a snow tire. I wouldn't go faster than 20 mph in snow or they'll start slipping almost immediately.

OK so I'm a bone-head.... no Gislaveds on my car currenty..... they're Vredestein Quatrac2's (oh well... both are hard to pronounce) I like them, but only H rated.. I will go to a V or Z rated tire for stiffer cornering...
Any other tire opinions guys???

Take it from a drifter:
Kumho ASX - durable and grippy for cheap
Falken ZE912 - good all around, reasonable grippy and quiet. OK in the rain and snow
Falken RT615 - Ultimate in grip, stiff sidewall for great turn-in, forget about rain or snow handling
Hankook HRII - comparable to ZE912, softer sidewall for quieter ride but less turn-in feel
Hankook RS2 - great grip on the cap and good in the rain. Not as good a turn-in as the RT615, but they're cheap and quieter.
Toyo Proxes T1R - very durable and good all-around; good grip, good turn-in, good in the rain, fairly quiet
Michellin Pilot - great grip, predictable, decent ride, somewhat niosy. Sports are quite expensive but worth it
BFG T/A - reasonable ride, reasonable grip, good turn-in due to fairly stiff sidewall but somewhat niosy due to the same fairly stiff sidewall
Dunlop FM901 - great turn-in and ride, quiet, durable,, good grip, good handling in the rain. Comes in 17"+ only

I hope this helps. Sorry for not detailing your two main chioces in more depth, but I think you can get a lot of tire for as much as you're looking to spend.
