so i'm not even sure what its called (hence the topic), but isn't there a pipe you can buy that runs from the hood scoop to the air filter?? just wondering if the air being dumped onto the cone filter would help (or if they even make it for my '95 BD) Any comments/knowledge on the subject??

there isnt anything u can buy to connect your scoop to the air filter.

it might help a little if u made one, but probably not much, and u would have to find a way to prevent water from spraying on the filter. i just wouldnt bother if i was u.

Only the Forester XT has the scooped hood, and it's boosted so it doesn't need a weird intake for the airfilter.
