I am getting condensation in my headlights, anyone know if it is due to a bad seal? I don't remember ever getting this before.

This happened to me after i took apart the headlights to take out the reflectors. So ye my guess is the seal.

How bad are yours? Does it happen often? Did you end up resealing them?

Thanks

Dry them out, take out the headlight from the car, and add some sealant around the edges. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to reseal them.

I don't know how well they work, but there's this clear silicone in a tube that is supposedly formulated to run into and fill cracks and crevices for windshields and headlights. I bought a tube at my local autozone...I haven't tried them out yet to see how effective they are.

I resealed them a few times, got a little better I think. It mostly happens when there is a combination of cold and rain. Taking them home for a day and letting them dry in room temperature helped a good amount.

That's what I did, I took out the problem headlight , removed all bulb assemblies, let it sit in my basement and the condensation was gone in about 3 hours. So far it has been good.
