BH5 is a 99-00 model legacy, but if your looking for some spring that fit although there a little pricey Apex N1 Type V Damper Kit they fit Legacy 92-98 BG5/BD5 for about $2,000

Go to www.racecompengineering.com (http://www.racecompengineering.com) and email either Myles or Drew and ask if they can get you a set of Prodrive springs for your BG, when I last talked to them (that is before I decided to do a WRX conversion and get the STI pink springs) they told me Prodrive did make sets specifically for the BD and one for the BG. They will probably run you between 2-300 bucks which isn't bad for prodrives, the spring rates are MUCH better than stock and the lowering is perfect, balanced and not slammed. I'd say your best bet is to go that route, otherwise you're going to be gambling with H&R's or other possibly "lesser quality" manufacturers that may not be suited for your car. You should look into upgrading your struts at some point down the road as well to compliment the springs, depending on your mileage you may need to anyways, most OEM struts are only designed to last 20k miles...I didn't change my original struts until 130k...and boy was it waaaay past due. Its much easier to do it all at once. Hope this helps, PM me if you have any other questions.

Here you go. They are in Canada. I ordered my Whiteline Control Springs for my BD from them. Good prices. $280 shipped to me, IIRC.

BG is listed right in there.

You mean its bad that I have original Struts and Springs at 172k?
Yeah, the Prodrive Springs are the most modest lowering I've seen out of the aftermarket, and I'd trust Prodrive, +1 for Ryan.

Whiteline makes 2 sets of springs, anyone have pics with them on a bg?

Gator, do the pics you have on car domain have your springs installed? I'm trying to decide between the whiteline controls and the lower ones.
Also can I get by without replacing the strut tops? I plan on doing struts with these so I just want to do everything at once. Also if I need them, where is a good price/place to get the STI tops?
Also forgot to mention, I'm putting Legacy 17in B4 wheels on as well.

my reccomendation: Don't go with the flat outs. They're a serious drop. Like, show car drop, uber-bumpy road drop. The controls are a mild drop, and they're very good springs.

I got you beat kiddo - 180k+ on originals.
Prodrive are made by Eibach - but to Prodrive's specs.

wow, that post was a while ago...you still have me beat though ;) (see sig)
Yeah, I found that out a while ago, Prodrive is still the only one who makes a completely even drop, which I like, however, they don't have wagon springs, which I don't like.

They make wagon springs, at least according to PDM racing???

Well, the sedan springs fit the wagon, however, I don't remember ever seeing prodrive springs that were made specifically for the wagon (which means the rears have more strength for more weight).

Interesting, the PDM racing site shows different part #'s for the rear wagon springs then that of the sedan from 95-99.

yes, that's what I mean. Wagons are heavier in the rear, they need stronger springs.

bigger but, more glass.
i'm kinda excited....
the need for springs and shocks is here. it's gonna take all my money, but it'll still be fun as hell.
96,000 miles on stockers. it wonders down the highway  dammit. it leans and dips and ugh i need new ones!
i'm thinking about prodrives and GR2s. if not prodrive then eibach, cause i get those cheap at work

okay, so Prodrive and Eibach make springs for the '90-'94 Wagons?

actually, the springs go from 90-99. in first and second generation Legacys, only the rear tophats differ from generation to generation.

so what if i am just wanting some springs... this is just my daily driver, so i dont need full coilover suspension, not going to be racing this beast much past the local AutoX course. where are some good places to buy them for my year and also, anyone have pix of some installed on said year (probably hard to find)?

FYI, the guys at iON have BG specific springs. I've got a set of their BD springs on my '98 L which I paired up with STi V5 struts. I was running H&R's before, the iON's are MUCH better for both ride comfort and handling feel.

jakmobile - you should just drop them an email -> info@ionperformance.com
Since I'm local to them, I didn't have to pay any shipping; however there's 7% tax because I'm Canadian.
You should let them know you're with SL-i, there's a member's discount! :)

I think that looks good, but I think the front should be just a tad lower......
