Has anyone tried this?

I was theorizing that because both vehicles use a multi-link setup in the rear, that they might be compatible.

I haven't seen it in person, but I know Phatsuby over at NASIOC did some measurements in the past and he was pretty sure the struts are the same dimensions - the only thing that differed were the tophats.

I'm not sure if the BE tophats can transfer over to the BL strut, but it may be worth looking into.

If I can find a cheap set of OEM BL takeoffs, I may just pick it up to compare to the suspension that I have waiting to go onto my car...

Another way to do it would be to compare the BL tophats to a BE.

I do know that the JDM B-spec tophats are completely different to the stock USDM ones, so anyone putting JDM B-spec suspension in has to use JDM top-hats.

Well what differed were the spacing between the bolts between the BE and BL tophats. I'm not sure if the diameter of the threaded portion of the strut is the same or if the BE tophat can securely sit and center on top of a BL strut, that's all.
