I didn't get much chance to take pics of my parents 3.0R while they were in town this weekend, but I did get a few. :)

Enjoy!

Pretty much fully optioned out too. I asked them if they wanted their old LGT back and told them we'd be glad to take the new one, but they didn't think that was a good trade.

Nice! I'd take one with a 6 speed. :D In WRB. D:

I like how they kept the lines the same. It still looks like a Legacy. :D

Whether or not it looks like a Camry, I'd take one. I got to drive it for about 3 miles when they first got it. Pretty sweet. Auto with paddle shifters, NAV, heated everything. It really is a nice car.

I got a chance to see the 08 in person for the 1st time since WBM. The lines are definitely growing on me. A nice looking ride.

Unfortunately, I believe all the 3.0's come with 5eats.

Nice! I still swear I saw another brown one though.

It's entirely possible. At the time, I guess it was the only brown one available for sale by a Subaru Dealer in the state. So someone could have bought one out of state, been visiting, etc.

The color really grows on you though. I wish it would have been clean and sunny outside. Then the color would have been really noticeable.

I'd like to know that why for some reason people would rather choose this than the new STi? Don't get me wrong, I think this car is beautiful... but come on.... an STi!!

I certainly wouldn't.

This car doesn't really look like a Camry or Corolla to me... Am I missing something?

Some people don't need the pure speed/stiffer ride of an STi. Seeing as most people are not car enthusiasts, I could see where most people who buy a car like this want it just for comfort that has a little get up and go.

Two completely different cars. It's like saying why get a BMW 3-series when you can get an neon SRT4 (well its not THAT drastic, but I'm saying it for extra emphasis).

I love the idea of the 3.0 in the Leg's this year, but I'd only ever consider one if it were a 3.0GT.

The GF STi would entice me. :P

I know the 3.0R was offered with a 6 MT in Japan land, is it offered with a 5 or 6 MT here?

Nope, only Europe (and Japan?).

Actually, I didn't think the H6 was offered in Japan at all, with all the taxes on vehicles with more cylinders, etc.

Looks like a Subaru to me.
