I think my idle is too high

My idle goes anywhere from 700-1100 Is this normal?

here how it is with my car:
when the car is cold, ill start and itll shake a bit jumping anywhere from 500-1000 for a few seconds, then it goes to 1000 and slowly climbs its way to 1600 where it stays for a while and then gradually drops to 700. after the engine is warm it idles at 700 always.

Cold starts on mine is 2k :shock: ..then drops down to 1k :lol:

Hmmm, try resetting your ECU. That might fix the idle variations. It fixed mine nicely. :-)

Either that or clean out the IAC valve (Idle air control) look aorund in the stickies for information about that
