Picture of my car before any mods. Bought it November 2006 with 38k miles.

Started work on the car by transferring my sound system.
An Alpine Typer R 12" with a homemade box. A MTX Thunder 81000D, 1500W. A Rockford Fostage 1.0 Farad capacitor.

I originally had my interior audio set up like this.

I changed it in the last week to this. I moved the Sirius radio into its own housing right below the Alpine head unit. I refinished the center console from fake wood to metallic silver, it really gives the interior of the car some life.

I also had someone at the local exhaust shop bend me a pipe to replace the resonating chamber found before the intake. It made the engines voice really come through.

I then followed your guys instruction and purchased a grounding kit, took out the orange reflectors in the headlights, installed a Perrin lightweight crank pulley, and a rear sway bar from RalliTek.

Thanks for all your help with my projects! Im now in the process of looking for a new set of tires. After reading up on your posts I have decided on a set of Kumo Ecsta ASX.

Wow I normally hate when people paint dash trim but yours looks like it should actually be silver from the factory. Looks good!

ya it took me a while to decide whether or not i was going to go ahead and paint the thing. im pretty happy with the way it turned out, now i just have to set if i got it in me to paint the wood panels around the window controls.

If you did what color would you go with? Silver?

I'd probably do it the same metallic silver.

haha I guess there are a bunch on here. I don't see very many of them in my area. at least not the gt limited.

Just completed the DIY DRL delete and independent fog light wiring. I really like it this way. I like having only the parking lights and fog lights on. What I did realize I want to do is take away my fourth brake light. I have two on the rear tail lights, one on my spoiler, and a fourth on the inside on the back window (i want to remove this one). I just hope there wont be some hideous gap in the paneling when I remove the light assembly, if there is I might just leave it and put some kind of independent strobe light.

What paint did you do exactly? Any tips? I would like to do something similar to my car...

ya so it was a pretty easy process. i sanded down the clear coat woodgrain trim and coated it with a plastic primer. after that i applied 3 - 4 layers of krylon plastic paint then finished it up with clear coat paint.

if i had to do it again i would put a few more layers of clear coat because of its high traffic location.

Yeeeees another one

We seriously need a Silver BE Mafia clique going around here

I thought the interior panels were from a baja for a second. Nice paint job (used flat black on mine).

Thanks for the info - probably going to do that this summer!

Update:

I just put in part orders to have a custom 2.5" custom exhaust made. I'm leaving the stock exhaust headers in until I get all the turbo parts together. For the setup I hope to have installed in the next 2 weeks I purchased the:
-Magnaflow Catalytic Converter #54956

http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/8186/catu.th.jpg (http://img269.imageshack.us/my.php?image=catu.jpg)

-OBX 18" Resonator

http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/5936/resonator.th.jpg (http://img190.imageshack.us/my.php?image=resonator.jpg)

-Magnaflow Muffler #11226

http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/534/muffler.th.jpg (http://img2.imageshack.us/my.php?image=muffler.jpg)

I've been quoted labor $300 for the catback, I'm going to continue looking around until the parts get in for a better deal. I decided to not go with an aftermarket tip and have the 2.5" continued out some but in way that has the muffler tucked under and have the tip come down and out (I've seen it done on some Jettas).

I can't wait to have this thing installed. I think it's going to sound sick.
