Ight well the website says that all products are to JDM specs, and I know the JDM B4 had slightly more angled headlights than US ones did. Basically, the headlights slant a little more down towards the center of the car. I'd just like some confirmation on this one.

Well it was the Rev D Legacy's that had the slantier headlights...Rev A-C B4's had the regular headlights...the ones in the pic look like the Rev A-C headlights, so they *should* fit our USDM cars...
Check the return policy if you're so inclined, worst comes to worse is you have to return them after you order them...

Any local Vinyl/Sign/Graphic shop could make those real easy for a lot less out of vinyl.

I wonder if we can get a group buy for these from somewhere. What about the guy who makes overlays for the guages, can he make em?

Everyone understands I meant like a group buy for the Vinyl cut for BE, not the actual eye lips.

How easy can vinyl be color matched? I know a vinyl place and I have the spare headlights to make the molds from, but I'm not sure how easy it is to paint the eyelids...

Vinyl could probably be really closely color matched. Unless you have some crazy color.

well seeing how im being talked about this would be not a problem at all at would make cost everyone 10$ a pair, including shipping might even be less, there is one problem i cant match my cars paint witch is wintergreen metallic, i tried already i wanted to do some mirror wrapps(i went with CF instead) but i only could get close but i tell you what if everyone is really that interested i will cut myself a white pair and put them on my car for fitment and then everyone can see what they think!

Yeah, I mean that was my point about the colors...it's kind of hard to do a group buy for color-matched ones when we don't have the subaru color pallette readily available.
But, I think you can get away with a light sand and adhesion promoter and then color-matched paint? Let me know if you can do a flat color vinyl (like flat white or flat black) should make it easier to get the paint to stick vs. the shiny stuff at least...

Ricers. All of you.
Though for $10 (or less) I might be interested.

Can you do eyelids with carbon-fibre look vinyl?
subaru_terrence
02-01-2008, 02:22 PM
do you think you can make it a bit more aggressive looking somehow?
I dont know how to explain but it looks kinda plain compare to the actual eyelids

That's the beaty of vinyl, you can cut it to whatever "angry eyebrow" design you want
I'm down for a set...it's cheap enough to just experiment for laughs
