Ok, so my check engine light is on. The previous owner told me he had it checked and that it was an o2 sensor code, I think he said "bank 1"

anyway Called the local store and they quoted me 160 roughly. Partstrain.com has a range from 22-140 all apparently work for my 97 gt.

any suggestions on what i should buy, whats the difference? I have to etest my car this week, so im trying to get this changed out pretty quick.

Is there a cheap/easy way for me to check the code to make sure that is the issue?

Autozone will check the codes for you.

Ok, so I went and bought my own OBDII reader, and I got a code for misfire on all 4 cylinders and the catalyst system efficiency below threshold(bank 1)

also got a code 1100, but cant seem to find that anywhere.

I cleared the codes and ran the car for about an hour, now i dont get any codes and my engine light has stayed off.

ideas?
