Just wanted to let you guys know some of the differences between makes and years of tgv's

07STi vs 02-06 wrx
First subaru switched to a top feed injector, instead of the side feed you see on 04-06 Sti’s. The second thing they changed was the mounting holes in the middle of the TGV. If you have looked at an OEM upper tgv gasket you will notice the middle two mounting holes are notched. This is subarus standard gasket for the upper tgv’s. This will need to be purchased when replacing your tgv’s. The third and final drastic change, the made the butterfly’s smaller.

Now for you 07 STi guys that would like tgv deletes; we can accommodate, we will be using wrx tgv housings, until we get 07 sti cores in stock. The only modification needed to make these work besides changing out the gaskets (which you have to do anyway) is bore out the two mounting holes in the middle of the intake manifold. We normally use a 3/8” drill bit and it seems to work fine for lining up the holes.

LGT vs 04-06 STi
