I have a 1998 Legacy 2.5 GT. I am kind of confused about what other title it goes by, is it a BG? BH? BD maybe? I am wondering because i have found JDM projectors that say they fit BG5 Legacys, and also i have found Clear side marker tail lights that say they will fit all BH Legacys. Will these parts fit on my car? So if someone could clear this up for me i would appriciate it... Thank You

You have a BD if you have a sedan or a BG if you have a wagon. Look at your vin number, it should have the letters BD or BG in it.

Its a sedan.. so BD then? and if so, it still looks like these parts will fit but im not sure, since it doesnt say specifically.

A 98 USDM sedan would be the BD.

BHs are 2000-04 wagons.

the "BD" is the chassis code for US sedans from 95-99, and Japanese sedans from 93-98. "BG/BK" are the chassis codes for the wagons of the same years.

Anything for the front end or engine will be interchangable between the two. For the rear, such as tail-lights, there is no interchangability.

BE and BH are the chassis codes for the 2000-2004 legacy sedan and wagon respectively here in the US. It has a different body, so no visual parts will switch between those and the older cars and the rear suspensions are also different.
