I've been using Michelin Radius on the GT and RS, they're great in the summer but not so good when it gets cold (rubber is too hard maybe). Might have to try the Ancos.

I used to do this as well bro', but you should have seen my old wipers(that were only 2-1/2 months OLD!) - they were all bent up...

I tried the new ones out this morning in the freshly fallen icy snow... Worked great! Now I just hope they last awhile, if not I guess it's back to the drawing board :lol:

VERY similar... I guess BOSCH is the 'originator' of these types of wipers. Contours are a *knockoff* but they work AWESOME.

i bought some of those bosches when they first came out. worked for about 1 month than streaked like hell. the little metal bar inside rusted out. $19 dollars of quality product there. im sure there better now though.

^Valeo actually, They are the supplier to GM for all of the flat blade wipers. Use to work at the plant as a Test Engineer in Rochester.

I have the Bosch contouring blade on my driver's side.

Only one complaint about it - because the blade housing is all rubber and solid, it catches wind, and sometimes there's streaking on the highway at 70mph.

Otherwise, it's the best wiper I've ever had.

I've been real happy with the RainX blades on my Mustangs for the last couple years. Work well, quiet, and last a hella long time. More than Anco's, but way less than $40. Actually, they last so long I don't remember what they cost.

I use rainx wipers too and like them. If I had a nicer car I get the $18 rainx contours or whatever they are called. The best blades I used to date were the PIAA silicone blades.

Haha, you would laugh, but it rained the other day overnight and then it froze, so when I woke up I had to get the ice off my wipers. When I was cleaning them off, I accidentally bumped it and the arm closed towards the windshield. When the wiper blade came in contact with the windshield, the wiper broke into like five pieces o.O. I guess that's what I get for $5 haha.

I use Michelin $6 wipers from Walmart. I usually get a slightly bigger size for the driver. I change my wipers whenever they wear out or get streaky, so maybe once a year.

As long as you keep the windshield free of ice, and park with the blades up, no worries.

I'd rather put the extra $10 into gas or some new tires. :lol:

Interesting, I find quite the opposite, I get less streaking and chatter than ever with these.

when i got my car the guy told me that he had just put on some $70 dollor wipers and that they were great. well i tried them out and they are good, but all i do is wash my windows nice so at 55+mph you dont have to use them the shit just beads right off. they best wipers that i have ever used are PIAA wipers. 40 to 70$ per wiper.

nope just really good, also the part that attaches to the car is carbon fiber. thats is some of the reason. i bought them in 2004 and they are still working as good as when i put them on.

I just bought some neo-something tri-whatchamallcallits (close enough...) as I was recommended them over the Bosch Icons. I love them.

^^^ Trico Neoforms, which is what I'm running as well. Advance Auto had a 50% off wiper sale at the start of winter, so I decided I'd try the expensive wipers, and they do work very well. 5, 6 months later and they're wiping like the day I got them.

tsk tsk tsk.. I'm disappointed no ones mentioned Silblade's!

These are warrantied for 5 years.. I've had them on my car for a little over 8 months and they still wipe as if they were brand new.. they went through a disastrous winter as well!
