STi struts ?

a friend just asked me if i wanted to buy the orginal suspension of his 05 STi

i just wanted to know, will the struts and springs fit ?

04 only, I believe 05 up are inverted.

search on NASIOC on how WRX people have adapted 05+ STI struts to their car - yours will be pretty similar.

It's primarily due to the different hubs the 05+ STI's used (beefier with 5x114 lug pattern).

I put 06 STi inserts into my '03 JDM STi housings and it will work that way, but STi struts are inverted and will not fit in WRX housings as a drop in. The hub change in the 05 STI changed the hole spacing on the strut as it attached to the steering knuckles in the front

nahh, i think i´m just going to buy new GR2´s and have Reason get me a set of springs.

i just found out thad the rear struts (GR2´s) have under 10k miles on them and i was offered a front set for realy cheap :smile:
but i need springs !
