Most Comfortable suspension ???

Its time to replace the suspension on my 98 legacy L wagon...
(even TINY little holes feel like the grand canyon:rolleyes:)

I would like to retain (new) stock like comforability in absorbing bumps and whatnot, but possibly lower the car a LITTLE bit(or even stock hieght).

Cornering is not a concern as this is my slow daily driver.


I have heard stock WRX wagon suspesion would be good ??? but doesn't this RAISE my car ??? :-(

also, what year wrx suspension will fit ???

Get all new GT stuff. You won't get what you want with aftermarket.

Will not work, the rear will sag badly. Stick with wagon rear suspension.

The original owner of my GT had installed the TEIN NAs on the car, but found the springs much too stiff. He tried another, softer set of TEIN springs, but finally settled on some even softer kg/mm brand springs.

Rides very nice and does slice up the corners too. Very good compromise.

KG/MM ??? where can I find those ??

I decided since I'm replacing everything anyway, I want a lower it a little bit...

so the KG/MMs are probably a little stiffer than stock...but will lower my car ?? do they sell em for the wagon ? :)

I have no idea. They were on the car when I bought it.

The NA are height adjustable, but I'd think they would lower the car slightly also.

well my only other option is stock Legacy GT springs correct ??? I'm pretty sure that won't lower my car :(

H&R springs may be softer than whitelines. I liked the H&R's but they weren't stiff enough for me.

I'm assuming If I go sedan I should do sedan shocks too...

I have Perrin WRX Lowering Springs and KYB GR-2's. I'm very happy with the setup. It's very comfortable.

actualy still looking for an affordable set of wrx wagon suspension... If I can't find it I think I'm gona go Legacy GT springs with GR2 shocks... and if I can't get a good deal on those... I'll prolly just buy a good used coilover

the biggest spacer that fits on your stock threads is only 3/8'' .... I still need to install these on my Impreza.

But I'm not sure they will help all that much...
