I know this has been discussed to death, I have searched and I'm very much aware of the grille differences...

Now, for the question; Has anyone actually tried the method of simply swapping the ENTIRE bumper? (as in the support and all)? did this eliminate the trimming?

Living in MN, the land of the Subey, I can't forsee it being THAT hard to find a smashed 98-99 Leg with good full bumper locally... (as shipping would be unholy for the whole beam I'd assume)

I'm sure it's doable but Jeremy and I were at both Calvary's and Chesney's Yesterday, neither of them have a GT. There may be an outback bumper or 2 around these parts, but I've never seen a GT n any of the yards.

Hmm, maybe we should all get drunk at Max's and test fit things... YEAH!

For real though, before i drop any money, minus the drunken part, that sounds like a good idea as I'm assuming you're bumpers off

Well actually it's back on the car, but since I have to pull my motor back out and apart, I don't see any reason why we can't pull my bumper/support off and try them on your car.

Hoorah! (to the bumper testing, not motor rebuilding part)

On a second tangent, you guys should hit me up when you're working on the motor as I've been shunned by the VW guys apparently... Ass holes.
