just found this while lookin around.
http://www.autocarparts.com/part/274/857/
it says 97-98 but i assume it will fit my 99 gt limited as they are all BD chassis.
seems like a pretty good deal. am i wrong? is this an average price for these springs?

Double check to make sure they have the part... Eibach have discontinued this kit last year.
BD = BD, doesn't matter the year.

how necessary is the alignment kit with these springs?

You mean the camber kit? Not necessary as the rears will automatically gain some negative static camber.
If for some reason the alignment shop cannot bring your car to a reasonable amount of negative camber (0.0 - 1.5 is reasonable) then you would need them.
I doubt you'd really need camber bolts on just springs.

If they actually physically have them in stock jump on them. They are fantastic springs!

I was told the 02 wrx springs work fine with the LGT without needing to use any other special wrx parts. Dunno if anyone can confirm this? I opened another thread about it.. but so far.. not much answers.
Boxer4racing guys said they use the 02 springs on their legacy with no problems at all. They said i could use the legacy top hats and struts as well.
